Taste No Evil Muffin Company

Special thanks to Beth Miner for telling us about this very unique bakery in our post on eggless/vegan bakeries! Taste No Evil Muffin Company sells its items from this awesome-looking trolley (click here to see picture) parked on 2531 South Lamar in Austin, Texas. As you can guess from the name, they mainly sell muffins. I spoke with the owner Karisa by phone to find out what they offer that is eggless. They offer 4 vegan muffins:

  • Cran Bran Breakfast Bonanza (Karisa's favorite)
  • Mixed Berry
  • Orange Almond Delight
  • Sweet Pumpkin Spice (seasonal) - soon to be replaced by Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

Flaxmeal is used as the egg substitute in all but the Sweet Pumpkin Spice which doesn't require any substitute. The trolley also makes deliveries, and you can place your orders online. Karisa is working on bringing in more eggless, vegan baked goods as well.

Beth, this bakery sounds really cool, feel free to tell us more about it. Is there a muffin you like in particular?

I'm so excited that you featured this! The Taste No Evil trolley is super cute, Karisa is sweet and friendly, plus the muffins are large, fluffy and delicious. The Orange Almond Delight is my fave. We took a dozen of them to a client to spread some vegan love. mmmm...I might need to go get one tomorrow! :)
