Free Holiday Meals Book from VCE

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! The Vegan Culinary Experience is kindly allowing me to share this 250 page holiday cookbook with you all. The recipe I posted yesterday is in there, along with a couple other recipes from Chef Wyrick that you may have seen on this site. Aside from recipes, this book has interesting articles and reviews.

Not to be a downer, but I wanted to touch on a particular point from "7 Weight-busting Strategies to Guiltless Holiday Feasting" on p. 22:

Instead of “saving yourself” for the celebration dinner, eat a calorie‐low, nutrient‐high breakfast, and even lunch (if dinnertime is 4 to 5 o’clock or later).

I unintentionally ended up "saving myself" last year because I was running around before dinner. Today I made that sure that didn't happen again and had a good breakfast and lunch. Hopefully my stomache won't end up hurting after dinner is over like last year. Happy Thanksgiving!
